Switching from Harvest

Switch from Harvest to Quattora

Bring what you have built over in an afternoon — matched to Harvest's own export files, with an undo for every import.

Honest gaps

What does not come over

We would rather say it here than surprise you after the import:

  • CompaniesClient addresses land in the notes field — tidy them on the company afterwards. Why: Harvest exports the address as one block of text; rather than guess which line is the street, we keep it whole in the notes.
  • ContactsJob titles and fax numbers. Why: Quattora contacts have no job-title or fax field.
  • ProjectsProject types, billable rates, fees and the people assigned — set them on each project afterwards. Why: Harvest's project export lists the project, its client, code and dates; rates, fees and assignments live on each project's own settings screen and are not in the file.
  • HoursRates and roles. People are matched by first and last name — invite your team first so their names line up.Why: Rates sit in Harvest's per-person settings, not in the time report — Quattora prices hours from your own cost rates. The report names people by first and last name, so that is the only key to match on.
  • InvoicesLine items and PDFs. Each invoice arrives with its total and tax, not its original lines; paid ones get a payment. Why: The invoice report is one row per invoice with its total; line items exist only in each invoice's own PDF.
Three steps

How it works

1

Export from Harvest

One CSV per kind of record, from the screens you already know. The steps are shown next to each import.

2

Create your free workspace

No card. The setup takes a couple of minutes and lands you at the import.

3

Import, in order, with an undo

Companies first, then the people at them, then projects, hours and invoices. Columns are matched for you; anything that went wrong can be undone in one click.

After the switch

What you gain

  • The whole loop in one place

Deals become projects, hours become invoices, invoices become profit you can see per project.

  • Your data at home

Hosted in the EU, exportable any time, or run Quattora on your own servers.

  • Nothing to lose by trying

Every import is a batch with its own undo. Keep what worked, take back what did not.

Before you switch

Questions people ask before switching

Export steps checked against Harvest's documentation on Sep 23, 2026. If something has moved, the column mapping lets you fix it on the spot.

Leave Harvest without leaving your history

Clients, projects, hours and invoices, brought over in an afternoon — and the whole loop from lead to profit from then on.
